KHUZDAR / NASIRABAD: The president of Pakistan Muslim League-N, Balochistan chapter, and senior minister Sardar Sanaullah Khan Zehri, has said that RAW is involved in the killing of innocent people in the province and pledged to continue the struggle to foil Indian agency’s design against the country.

He was speaking at the first death anniversary of his son, brother and nephew who were killed in a bomb attack during election campaign last year.

Mr Zehri said that his son, brother and nephew had sacrificed their lives for the cause of democracy and the country.

“The enemy tried to harass me by killing my son, brother and the nephew but I am not afraid of them.

“I will not leave my country and will not surrender before these anti-peace elements,” he declared.

He said that under a conspiracy Balochistan was being pushed towards backwardness and destruction by insurgents, adding that elements continuing their armed campaign in the name of freedom were actually killing innocent people and damaging the province.

“I ask all youths who have gone to mountains and taken up arms in the name of freedom not to follow nationalist leaders because they are misguiding you and destroying your future,” Mr Zehri pleaded.

He said progress and prosperity of people and the province lay in joining the mainstream, adding that no-one would be allowed to dismember and divide Pakistan.

“Pakistan is our country and we will foil every conspiracy being hatched to damage it,” Mr Zehri said, adding that the leaders living abroad should not misguide the youth in the name of their so-called freedom movement.

Mir Hasil Bizenjo paid tribute to the family of Mr Zehri for its sacrifice and assured him of his party’s cooperation in efforts to restore peace in the province.

Provincial ministers Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, Sardar Aslam Bizenjo, Mir Izhar Hussain Khosa, Deputy Speaker of Balochistan Assembly Mir Abdul Quddoos Bizenjo, MPAs Asim Kurd, Mir Abdul Kareem Nosherwani, Mir Abdul Rehman Zehri, former chairman of Balochistan Student Organisation, Mohyuddin Baloch and others also spoke.

In Nasirabad, the death anniversary of the son, brother and nephew of Mr Zehri was observed in the Lehri House and a condolence reference was held to mark the day.

The speakers paid rich tribute to them and said their sacrifices for the country would always be remembered.
