KARAK: Parents have hired a man to teach their children science subjects in the government girls’ high school, Sabirabad.

Talking to Dawn here on Friday, the parents said that they had to pool money to pay monthly salary to the teacher as the government had not provided any science teacher to the school despite repeated demands.

They said that their daughters had opted to study science subjects in 9th and 10th classes, but there was no science teacher at the school, which resulted in wastage of precious time of the students.

The parents said they couldn’t afford to pay the science teacher due to their meager sources of income, and demanded of the government to appoint a science teacher to the school without further delay.
